As a speaker, Cynthia's passion is to lead others to understand their own unique purpose, passion and gifts. Her desire is to motivate others to discover their potential and to respond to God's call to invest time in building, encouraging and reproducing Christ in others. She believes her life's call is to minister to others out of the brokenness she experienced through her depression and her struggle with performance issues. She seeks to point people to the only source of total healing-Jesus and the power of God's Word. Her passion is to facilitate the networking and encouragement of women leaders for the greater church community. She is the founder and director of Women Emerge a ministry that equips women to fulfill their God-given mission and to empower them to reach the generations for eternal impact.

Through conferences, seminars and retreats, women across North America have been inspired by Cynthia's authenticity, humour and faithful commitment to God's word. Cynthia is also a certified Life Coach with Pathway to Purpose Ministries™ and has served as Women's Ministry Director and worked at Focus on the Family Canada. She and her husband Kevin make their home in Surrey, British Columbia where they Pastor a dynamic and growing church. They have three wonderful sons, and an amazing daughter-in-love.

Cynthia was raised in a Christian home and made a commitment to follow Jesus at the age of 13. As a young teenager she took advantage of ministry opportunities in her church and community. She married her husband Kevin in 1978 and they have been in ministry together ever since. Cynthia enjoys worship and writing. She loves golfing with other women and her family. She looks for any occasion to have a cup of tea and sit by the fire with a good book.
